It was opened as Hotel Merkur and renamed Hotel Intercontinental in 1993. Since 2003 it has been part of the Starwood Gruppe under the name The Westin Leipzig. Restaurant Seasons is a French-German restaurant open daily, serving culinary delicacies of regional and international cuisine in an elegant atmosphere.
